Dr. Jack DeWolf



Dr. John DeWolf has been involved in community health dentistry for over 30 years and has maintained a private practice in Clintonville since 1989. Both of his daughters are dentists and work nearby. His main areas of interest are minimally invasive dentistry.and complex restorative cases.

Dr. DeWolf grew up in Pennsylvania and graduated from Duke University.. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1981 as a member of the  OKU national dental honor society and started practice at a rural health clinic  in northern Wisconsin as part of his obligation to the National Health Service Corps scholarship program.

Dr. DeWolf has served as past president of the Clintonville Area Foundation, Inc. and he was deeply involved in starting internet connectivity services to the community in the mid 90's. He has remained a member of the Academy of General dentistry since 1981 and is a past-president of the Waupaca County Dental Association. On, Dr. DeWolf has maintained a DocScore of 95 and is well-known among his colleagues for several topics of interest including TMD syndrome, tooth pain, and public health, for which he is ranked first in the nation. As a result, Dr. DeWolf recently received various awards within the Appleton, WI region: Top Doctor, Thought Leader, Most Influential, and Top Dentist. Dr. DeWolf has inspired his daughters, patients, and colleagues with his passion for dentistry.


A 1999 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School, Karen was also privileged to be
asked to stay on after graduation as a full-time faculty member at the school. Karen is an Illinois (Northwest suburbs of Chicago) native, but relocated to Clintonville, Wisconsin in 2001 to join Clintonville Family Dentistry.
Karen has participated in a number of volunteer service trips to the mountains of Jamaica through Rotary International, helping families of Christiana, Jamaica.  She is presently the Waupaca County Dental Society President and Treasurer and has been for the past three years.
She also is a three year return Delegate to the Wisconsin Dental Association House of Delegates. She loves all aspects of dentistry and participates in many continuing education courses to help advance her knowledge of bringing quality dentistry to her patients.  Karen volunteers her time in her community helping the Waupaca County Seal-a-Smile Program screen students and apply sealants in the public school system.  For the last four years she has served as volunteer Treasurer for the  Play and Learn Preschool in Clintonville and is an active participant and adult helper for the Rexford Longfellow Elementary School Running Club.
          Karen is newly married to husband, Ted Johnson and has a wonderful 8 year old
daughter and 2 amazing step-children.
